At New Rochelle Public Library
Jhoely Garay, a recent Master’s degree graduate of Manhattan School of Music, is a guitarist, composer, arranger and educator from Mexico City whose music expresses her passion for swing, contemporary jazz and music and rhythms from Latin America. Jhoely has performed at The National Jazz Museum in Harlem, the Public Theater, and the Banff Centre in Canada. In addition to winning a Latin Grammy Scholarship, Jhoely was named a “Young Creator” by the National Fund for Culture and the Arts in Mexico.
