At Downtown Music at Grace (White Plains)

Graduate students at Juilliard School of Music, Daniel and Nabeel have joined as a duo to perform Romantic and Post-Romantic sonatas.  Individually, each is a brilliant musician, winning recognition and prizes in international competitions.  They are coached by internationally celebrated musicians Areta Zhulla and Orli Shaham.

American violinist Daniel Rafimayeri is the Burdick-Thorne Gold medalist of the Stulberg International String Competition and a Salon De Virtuosi career grant winner. He recently performed the Bruch Concerto with The Baltimore Chamber Symphony and was selected for the Wu Han/David Finckel chamber program at the Aspen Music Festival,

Pianist Nabeel Hayek studied at Tel Aviv University and has received mentorship from Murray Perahia at the Jerusalem Center since 2017. Nabeel’s talent has been recognized through prizes in international competitions. He’s performed twice for the Arthur Rubenstein International Music Society and has represented the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in recitals in the US.

Please join us for an afternoon performance by these exciting young musicians.

The March 19 concert is presented in collaboration with Downtown Music at Grace, a long-standing afternoon chamber music series in White Plains, an exciting new opportunity for Young Musicians of Westchester. https://www.dtmusic.org/
